There are 3 metalled roads into Upper Farringdon

The best when driving is the road from the A32 in Lower Farringdon
The other 2 roads (from the B3006 Alton to Selborne road) are single-track lanes with passing places

Farringdon consists of two halves: Lower Farringdon and Upper Farringdon.

Lower Farringdon

is clustered around the A32 Gosport Road (where the Golden Pheasant pub and Bahnstormer motorcycles can be found).

Upper Farringdon

is to the east of Lower Farringdon and up a gentle rise.
The road connecting the two (not currently named on Google Maps) forms a crossroads with Brightsone Lane and the A32.
It is "Shirnall Hill" at its junction with the A32.
Its name changes to "The Street" through Upper Farringdon and then, just by the Rose and Crown, it turns into "Hall Lane".

To Upper Farringdon

When turning off the A32 Gosport Road for Upper Farringdon, the junction is as shown.

The old red telephone box is a useful landmark.

The turning is sign-posted to Church; Upper Farringdon; Selborne.

To find the Rose and Crown, pass the telephone box and continue up the hill.

Continue straight on past the left turn into Church Road.

You will arrive at a 3-way junction: The Street (which you have travelled up), Crows Lane and Hall Lane.

The pub is just in Crows Lane - on the left at the junction.
