Chris Richards, ‘Chef of the Year’, the final three!

Thank you once again to everyone who voted for us and made us 1 of 3 finalists for ‘Chef of the Year’ at the Surrey Life Food & Drink Awards! We are still over the moon to have been recognised by our lovely customers in this way.

We had a wonderful night at the awards dinner earlier this month, but sadly, Head Chef Chris Richards didn’t win on the night. The award instead went to Eric Guignard, Head Chef at a two rosette, fine dining restaurant in Surrey (tough competition!).

We are incredibly proud of Chris and to have been among some of the finest foodies in the county was a real honour!

It has been six and a half years since Chris joined the company. Not only is he a highly talented chef who consistently produces food of exceptional quality, but he also possesses so many other valuable attributes that make him an excellent Head Chef who is a joy to work with. He is a good leader, thoroughly liked and respected by his team and he has a great track record of mentoring and developing other junior chefs.
